Welcome, I’m glad you are here, All is Well.

You might want to Subscribe, to get full access to the newsletter and publication archives as this little Substack grows. Who knows, you might find something interesting. It is just getting started. I’m planning to post here once a week or so. If you subscribe you will be notified!

I know you will enjoy downloading my complete handbook on “How to Catch & Release Flies”. It’s only 2 pages, with diagrams and illustrations. It’s in the second post, titled Honor All Beings.

Later there will be ideas on how to send less light up into the night sky, and how to conserve water in desert places. I keep a sketchbook, it’s like an open diary, meaning it’s OK for other people to browse through. I’ll post some of the better looking pages here for you to see.

I love to encourage people with their art, even if they don’t think of themselves as artists. My sister Antonia encouraged me to start a sketchbook when I was about 12 years old. I still have most of them, one got misplaced, one went for a dip in the pool. Yikes, I’m 70 now, that’s a lot of sketchbooks. They’re fun. Never perfect, but they tell tales. At some point I may create a paid subscription with more offerings inside it, classes, and other ways to interact. But that’s a bit further down the road. I’m thinking of what would make it worth while for you to do that. Any ideas are welcome!

It is a bit like a sketchbook, filled with art and writings about making art, spiritual journeys, and daytime meanderings: thoughts and images, little captured moments scattered here and there.
